If you could live anywhere in the world where would you live?

I would like to live in California. I would like to be in a hotel-a hotel with a beautiful waterfall.  It would also have a lake.  I would sit and look at the view. 

Yesterday we read a book about taking an expedition in the subtropics.  After reading that book why do you think people continue to live in a harsh climate like that of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for example, where there is no natural water source?

I think people live there because it is a more interesting way of living.  It is a lot more cautious . . .

 Dear inner critic, 

You always focus on everything I'm doing wrong, but I know I'm doing a lot right including exercising every day.  Also, I am careful about not hitting my head. I'm having less dysregulations.

 Which challenge of hiking the Appalachian Trail would be most difficult for you? Why?

The hardest part for me would be being alone.  It would be a challenge to care for myself. It would be tough eating. I would not like rationing food.  Eating is enjoyable, but eating while on the AT is not my idea of a good time.

 What fear would you like to overcome?

I would like to be more caring.
