Gregory Tino talks about how he believes autistic people remember events in exact detail, but may have difficulty recalling an event when asked about it? Is there a memory you can share from when you were younger?

I remember a time when I went to a house that had many cats inside and dogs.  I liked the cats.   They were soft.  The house had no kids.  

 Emotions

I have many emotions. Sometimes I am overwhelmed.  I hit my head because it lets out the feelings. I bite my hand because it feels easy.

 What is special about your dad?

My Dad is a man who cares a lot.  He is really good at making neat IT solutions.  Also, he is a good cook.  I love his burgers.  I love him lots. 

 What is special about your mom?

My mom is special because she really loves me. She believes in my abilities.  She has a lot of patience with me.  She is relentless.  I love her a lot. 

 Describe your favorite thing to do as a child.

When I was little I read a lot. I loved looking at the pictures in my books.  I would sit in my room and be happy for hours.  To be continued . . . 

 Where was your favorite place to go when you were young? Why was it special?

I loved going to the park. I liked the swings. It was special because all my favorite items were there.  It was always a good time.  I went with Mom and Dad. 

 Today we read more about Gregory's 'Mind Body Disconnect'.  He discusses how he can be doing something with his body like fidgeting, or walking around, or moving his arms while still listening and being engaged.  Can you relate to this section?

Yes, I agree. My favorite thing to do is play with a hair band.
